Read , laughed at my own 'problems' , read again and now I don't have that many problems !! A classic 'good problem' which I fret about but too guilty to even talk about - I order something online today, I am promised next day delivery, just one day later I am already troubling their customer services !.. I mean, what's wrong with me ! Lovely read, thank you :)

haha. I've done that too. Can you please deliver this faster? We are a little spoilt this way.

Glad it resonated with you. Thank you for reading and I hope you get the delivery faster :)

A couple of weeks back I was looking at the huge pile of laundry that I had to wash, dry, fold, iron, and put them back at their place. Adult me was cribbing over how many chores one needs to do around the house while working a full time job. But then when I looked at that huge pile of laundry, I thought, wow! I have so many clothes! This was eye opening for someone who grew up in a middle class house and mostly had hand me downs when it came to clothes, toys, even bicycle. And now, I get to buy whatever I want. That laundry changed my perspective for good (not saying I don't cribbing at all).

Ok maybe having so much to study isn't really a problem, I atleast have someone who pays my fees and can afford my uni when I can read this Substack.

Maybe my life isn't as bad as I thought it was lol

And anyways what a banger to make my weekend Abhishek, you're a master of humour man!

Happy weekend(don't know if corporate weekends are happy but just try to, you know life is short😂)

Good one. I liked it because it gave me some clarity even if it might end up being fleeting like clarity most of the time is. A life without conflicts ? Hmm. Thats an interesting question to think about. I think as humans we are always in a state of flux. And we want to be out of it when we are in it. But that is mostly a reaction rather than a want. My theory is that we were children before being an adult. In that phase, our timetable was sorted out by adults in our life and we were most of the time in the moment. But now as adults, I guess, we feel the concept of time much more acutely. Sometimes I believe having limited time to do the things we want maybe gives meaning to our wants, tasks and life in general. But if you could, wouldn't you choose infinite time? I don't know the answer to that. Nobody wants to be God but as adults, in some ways, we are the Gods of our own life. We both want to do what we want and we also crave to be told to do things. What do we want is itself strange. Many ordinary people want to be famous and some famous people must crave anonymity from time to time. Half of the nation wants to be Shah Rukh Khan without ever realising how difficult it must be for him to wake up and be or act Shah Rukh Khan every day. I think it still is to each his own. For some it could be a personal battle. The battle could be even as small as putting oneself out there. Or for some it could all be a party. Too big a comment I believe :). Anyways congrats on finishing your novella. What genre is it?

the longest comment I've ever received! wow.

I somewhat agree with your thought. What I feel is, we crib more than we should and constant comparison and cribbing robs the little joys.

And more details on the Novella soon :)

How there is too much to watch, too much to read and to much to listen to on the internet. Also most of it is free or at a limited cost (price of an expensive coffee gives you a monthly subscription to 1000+ movies). Such a horrendous scary problem!

agreed, however if the caffeine hits you right, you get to experience 1000+ movies worth happiness in that coffee mug😁
